🌠The May Sky Guide is here!
In the Northern Hemisphere, May marks the transition from galaxy season to Milky Way core season, with Scorpius and Sagittarius returning to the morning sky.
🔠Vespera owners: as soon as the Moon wanes, try our must-see targets. They’re hand-picked to build the perfect Plan My Night session for a full night under the stars.

Today, travel through the clouds of Rho Ophiuchi with Vespera 3.
🟦 In the northern part of the image, the multiple star system Rho Ophiuchi illuminates the blue reflection nebula IC 4604, where starlight is scattered by fine interstellar dust.
🟨 The southern part of the scene is dominated by Antares, the red supergiant at the heart of Scorpius. Its intense light illuminates the surrounding dust, giving this area its warm golden-orange glow.
✨Among this nebular firework display, two globular clusters, the bright and prominent Messier 4 (bottom right) and the fainter NGC 6144 (to its left), quietly add depth and richness to the scene.
This image was created from two mosaics captured with Vespera 3, each with 8 to 9 hours of integration, using Mosaic Mode and Multi-Night Mode to easily build a large high-resolution result over several nights.

Earthshine, captured with the new Vespera 3 ✨
That glow on the dark side of a crescent Moon?
It’s sunlight reflected from Earth, revealing the Moon’s full disk even when only a small part is illuminated.
Earthshine is best seen just after the New Moon in the evening sky, or just before in the morning sky, when our satellite is far enough from the Sun’s glare and its crescent isn’t yet bright enough to outshine the faint glow.
Have you ever captured this phenomenon?

New optical design. Sharper optics. Faster image acquisition.
Both Vespera 3 and Vespera Pro 2 feature a fully redesigned optical system, built around a new apochromatic quadruplet assembly that delivers greater signal, enhanced sharpness, and more accurate colors. This advanced design reveals finer details, richer contrast, and enables faster image acquisition, allowing users to capture deeper, more vivid views of the universe.
Which Vespera will take you further?
