I had the honor to produce this film for @freethegirlsbras . Human trafficking is something that exists in our world. It’s exploitation, it’s a trap and it is all around us.
Thanks to Free the Girls and Mission to El Salvador, we had a chance to share these women’s stories, hopes and dreams for a brighter future.

This is umm. Uncle? Or grand uncle? It wasn’t clear to me. But he’s a distant relative. It’s pretty exciting because there are like only six or seven Dinhs from our side of the family that lives in American.
This man has stories from serving with John Kerry in the Vietnam war, escaping Vietnam on a boat he made, picking up bottles to survive in America.
I learn he has a great love for his family and it’s history. Everything was oral history of who and when. Scary part, only he knew it well enough to tell it.
I needed to record him to keep safe that history and That is what we did for 5 hours. 7 generations of history.
As we said goodbye, he told me that I’m now the keeper now and how much I remind him of my grandfather who I never met.
