Thank you to everyone who voted for Inimba to win Best Scripted Series and Best Indigenous M-Net Series at the 2026 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
In an age where viewers can watch anything, it’s a privilege to write for an audience that constantly chooses you.
PS - Lagos, you ATE that red carpet and left no crumbs. Come take your flowers. AFRICAN DESIGNERS TO THE WORLD 🔥🇳🇬🇿🇦
A whole surprise dinner to celebrate my SAFTA win 😭I’m still emotional from everyone’s meticulous planning and generosity.
I don’t know what I did to deserve these unlimited friendships, but I’ll NEVER stop being grateful.
The real win is having you guys:

We’re not done celebrating MTF alumni excellence just yet...🔥👏
The SAFTA love keeps rolling in, and we’re shining the spotlight on more of our incredible storytellers who are making their mark on South African television.
🎬Neo Nhlapho (Class of 2017) has been nominated for Best Achievement in Scriptwriting – TV Comedy for How to Ruin Love (Season 1).
🎬Vanishia Kirsten (Class of 2017) has been nominated for Best Achievement in Scriptwriting – Telenovela for Inimba.
🎬Kgomotso Matlhabe (Class of 2024/25) joined the writing team of Inimba last year, contributing to the creative force behind this awards-season recognition.
We are beyond proud of the impact our graduates continue to make across the industry.
The future of African storytelling is in good hands.

Infinite gratitude to The Realness Institute for the opportunity to be part of this phenomenal Pan-African writing group.
I don’t remember what joke @bongekilendaba made in these pictures, but it was definitely hilarious.
Look at how beautifully composed she stayed while leaving me in shambles.
Happiest of birthdays (ALL MONTH) to an all-round creative.
Be blessed, as you continue to bless. 🤍
