++A lil’ snip from @revoltathens 13 year anniversary party ++one of my moms favorite records from Gloria Gaynor that’s been in my head on repeat for a while ⋆˚꩜。(◕‿◕)⋆‧°𓏲ּ𝄢⊹
The first @kra.saki party was a celebration of new beginnings — and a gentle farewell to what we’re leaving behind. Ideas are flowing, and there’s plenty of enthusiasm and creative energy to fuel the journey ahead. Off to the next adventure 🪐
Projects like this always remind me why I love working as a film editor. There’s always something new to learn, and this time it was all about the mysteries of the Acropolis and its ongoing restoration.
The documentary film Replicating the Randomness produced by @aorifilms and @steliosapostol takes us into the worksites of the Sacred Rock, introducing us to the world of traditional restoration techniques. Marble sculptors use the pontadoros as a pointing device to achieve the accurate reproduction of ancient stone forms.
In an era of digital scanning and reproduction, this simple tool has become a piece of intangible cultural heritage, worthy of preservation in its own right.

A few years back, in the midst of the pandemic, I edited Berlin Short, a short film by @pelopominican . Shot between Berlin, New York and Annice, the film was made amongst a crew of friends.
It tells the story of international friends, Cat and Alex, who reunite in Berlin to shoot a tribute to Kate Bush’s “Wuthering Heights” music video.
As personal as this story feels to me —and I think, to many others— as long distance friendships become increasingly common, the film is a cool, funny, slightly sad, but ultimately sanguine reminder that meaningful relationships aren’t bound by geography.
