Hey everyone, I thought to share since I brought you on this crazy ride I have been on. Yesterday my dad. The person I have known for 34 years of life passed. Just a week ago it was my grandma. I don’t think it has actually set in yet the gravity of all this and the feelings have yet to set because I have not let them. I just know I’ll keep moving forward for now and take my time grieving so if you see me crying you’ll know why. I loved both my grandma and dad I took care of them just as they took care of me and now they are both gone. Actually I thought I was on and I’m not. Thanks everyone for your well wishes and prayers I read them to him in the hospital and I know he heard them I played his favorite songs I held his hand I told him my dreams and wishes. I am just so sad theh won’t get to see them. I know they are with but this shit hurts something fierce. I just wanted to let you know the burial is Saturday and I’m gonna be strong and be there for everyone. I will try to contact you all. Also thank you for everyone who has reached out I appreciate it and thank you for all the donations this far. This is insane. I’ll update you all soon. I came to South Africa to say goodbye to my grandmother… and within days my father ended up in ICU. These past weeks have been some of the hardest our family has ever faced emotionally, mentally, and physically. One moment we were mourning together as a family, and the next we were trying to process hospital visits, ventilators, dialysis, and uncertainty. This Mother’s Day feels different. Last week we said goodbye to my grandma, Mary Mbityana. She was one of those people who made everyone feel loved, seen, and connected. See ya 33 HELLO! 34! A birthday month or week! Just wanted to say sheesh it’s been long month and things are just gonna get heated up again. Anywho wanted to grateful for all the people I have met. Yall make me super happy and have really pushed me to be better and working to find me at the other end of this. That said it’s been 10 years from the last photo. So if I had to talk to me about the future he probably would not believe it but I’m sure he would be proud. Happy to see the end of 33 even though it’s like my favorite number this year been a blaze of change I do wonder how different I am but I can feel it ! Oh one good thing that came outta the year was guess your favorite anime character ! I love playing the game with everyone really brought me out of rut. At least I am having fun doing this again. However I think what I want for me now more the ever is more is more time for art so I can create more. It’s fun but this business is eating alllll my time so I want more of that and just to be happier and enjoy life even though the world feels like it’s constantly in chaos.
