True story: I am a fan of MJ like many... I had this shirt for years and never wore it. My friend came to pick me up for lunch on this day and I got in his car. I closed the car door, then opened it and went back to my home and changed into this shirt not knowing what would happen moments later. What do you know, we run into Mr. Joseph Jackson in a parking lot. My friend was close to the Jackson family; including Michael, and Mr. Jackson, and had known them for decades so I was introduced to Papa Joe and told him thank you for creating this man on my shirt; not only biologically, but systematically. He humbly laughed it off. Joseph Jackson is a man of his time and cultural experience, born in the south during the 1920's, and his ways were a reflection of many who traveled a similar path. Without him, there is absolutely no MJ. I choose to celebrate his worldly contributions. It was his discipline, guidance, and work ethic that he instilled in his children that helped shape music and entertainment, globally.
