From daylight plans to finalized dark-time landscape – the sculptural and award-winning Turku Library Bridge curves over the river harmoniously with the cultural-historical landscape. The lighting was designed based on the bridge’s designer’s competition proposal.
Programmable lighting enables Library Bridge to shine brightly during the year’s festive and theme days. The lighting is transformative and simultaneously timeless. It arouses the interest of the city’s people and creates comfort even years later.

The renewed lighting communicates the renovations made inside the building to the street space and the hotel feels inviting.
“The lighting solution is fairly moderate, and it softly highlights the terrace surface of the building. It naturally emphasizes verticality and tall window lines. The light also highlights the decorative details of the roof, which are unnoticed by many,” comments lighting designer Antti Hiltunen.

Light murals brighten the feeling of a residential area.
In Virontörmä, the buildings have changeable light murals on their walls throughout the street. The residents participated in the design process, and the whole area was enlivened.
In Hatanpää, unique details were designed on the walls of apartment buildings. These delicate light murals can be seen from afar and bring liveliness to the brick walls and comfort to the environment.
You can still admire the murals on early spring evening walks and consider whether your building or area needs something new.

Senate Square is one of several valuable urban spaces in Finland. It is a square with national history. The subtle, long-lasting lighting combines darkness and light into a harmonious spatial experience.
2️⃣ Naistenlahti 3 biothermal plant
New dynamic facade lighting is part of the architecture. The facade lighting makes the building and the new brand of Tampereen Energia a visible part of the landscape and Tampere’s cityscape.
3️⃣ Solo Sokos Hotel Torni
The facade lighting of the hotel brings light to the surrounding streetscape and makes the historical building stand out as one of the landmarks in the city center of Helsinki.
