As we close another unforgettable season, we continue to celebrate an extraordinary milestone: 25 years of Maestro Peter Dabrowski leading the Valley Symphony Orchestra.
Through his passion, artistry, and vision, Peter has helped shape not only the VSO, but the cultural landscape of the Rio Grande Valley itself. What began as a journey to South Texas from Washington DC (via Poland and Chicago) became a lasting legacy of music, education, and community that inspires generations to come.
This tribute video is a reflection of the impact Peter has made over the past quarter century and the deep connection between the Maestro, the orchestra, and our community.
Next season, the Valley Symphony Orchestra proudly celebrates 75 years of music in the Rio Grande Valley — and we cannot wait to share what’s ahead. Stay tuned for more announcements of our landmark anniversary season. 🎻✨
