💡MOODBOARD - “I’m Valentina Luraghi, photographer and director currently based in Italy and France.
This work comes from two different shoots and is part of the new creative direction I’m bringing to the club. It includes the official campaign images, as well as all the photos created separately that are used for match days and ticket sales.
For @comowomen , it was necessary to bring life to a side story from the usual commercial aspects of football. My creative direction is focused on the players, their identity and the unseen aspects of a women football team.
The references are mainly from my way to perceive reality based on the context I am. I had references but I mixed them with the unpredictable life on set. From portraits to set details. I think once you have your blueprint you can easily work on anything because any reference is already stored in your approach and gives life to your unique way to capture reality.
It’s important to understand when and where to shoot. Sometimes the set can be messy and the high level of stress of those around you may change the energy. Stay focused, get your shots done, no matter what. The main challenge was actually the heat due to a humid 38° weather. Stay hydrated.”
