A person I admire once said that if we don’t celebrate our achievements, no one will do it for us. So today, I’m taking a moment to do just that. To remind myself how far I’ve come in such a short time since returning to this industry. After a complete 360° change in my life moving to a new country, perfecting a new language, getting married, becoming a mom, and choosing not to follow the career I studied at university but to follow my dreams instead. I realize I never truly stopped to breathe, be grateful and give myself a pat on the back. Well, today is that day. And I want to share this moment with you: 1. My photo was featured in @ellevietnam as part of the amazing team at @thesensoryshows and @tritran_makeup 😭✨ 2. I had the honor of styling two covers for international magazines, thank you so so much @sense_n_style_magazine and @revistaxoxo ❤️‍🔥 3. The first ever article about me was published in a US publication! Hope to visit you soon @vine_missworld 🫶🏻 4. I had the incredible opportunity to hear and meet the legendary Jimmy Choo OBE. 5. I was selected as a finalist for the @australianstyleinstitute Style Awards, standing alongside two amazing (and giant industry leaders, had to mention!) women, truly an honor. 6. Met the beautiful, inspiring woman (and funniest person ever) Camilla Franks! 7. My work was displayed at the Sydney Opera House under the direction of @mradamwilliams 8. I was selected as Creative Director for Australia by the international magazine @trendsettersonlymag On top of that, I’ve had the opportunity of collaborating with dream brands like Marc Jacobs, Panasonic, W Cosmetics, UTurn (my forever favorite, lol), Kylie Jenner Cosmetics, and so many more.🤞🏻 But most importantly, AND NEVER FORGOTTEN. I am endlessly grateful for the beautiful friends, colleagues, and talents I’ve met along the way. We have built such a special community, and my heart is full of gratitude for each and every one of you who has shared even a moment of this with me. I’m so excited to see what comes next. And from now on I will keep celebrating every step 😭✨

I went for new digis and came back with a mini fashion shoot 🤣 is always a pleasure to step in your studio and be in front of the camera again Ian! @flawlessphotostudios I made that skirt out of 2 scarfs and a shirt I found at the studio, I think it came out pretty well though! I think I’ve always struggled with being active. You’ll never catch me taking the stairs or going for a walk, and let’s not talk about the gym.😅 For a long time, that made me feel guilty. So this year, I decided to focus on getting 1% better every day. It’s actually a cool concept when you think about it, focusing on long term results through tiny improvements. My improvement of the day was taking a yoga class. Something gentle, to set me up for the week and not burn through my motivation too quickly, and made you a vlog about it. Hehe✨ PS.: I chose @changepagewood to help me through the process. It honestly feels like the best place to start. 🤍

Let’s pretend I’m uploading this in May and didn’t (intentionally) forget to post it after Fashion Week. Chatting with so many creatives, I realized the focus had shifted. Did I go to see fashion, or was I seeking the immense amount of attention that comes with these kinds of events? When did it all become more about ego and validation than creativity and curiosity? (Says the person who chose the Refinery29 feature of her outfit as the cover photo for this post. 🫠) After it all happened, I gave myself time to pause and refocus. Maybe that’s why I’m posting so late. Two weeks later, my brain is still processing it all… But, finally showing up here, because there were people who kindly took the time to shoot my outfits during that hectic week. Deeply thankful to all of you. Some are in this post, some aren’t (it’s not your work, it’s my self perception and how nitpicky I can get with my angles. I know, the confidence and self-esteem reflection will come another day, let’s go one at a time. This parentheses got too long, lol.), but you know who you are.
