International Womenโs Day is more than just a date on the calendar ๐ค
March 8 is our day - a day to be loud, to remember and to draw strength. For all those who have fought before us. For all those who are fighting today. And for all those who come after us.
Why March 8 is so important - and why our fight continues?
It is a symbol of courage, resistance and the tireless fight for equality. For more than 100 years, women have been taking to the streets, demanding rights and fighting against discrimination and patriarchal structures.
From the female workers who went on strike for fair wages and better working conditions at the beginning of the 20th century, to womenโs suffrage, which many only gained after a long struggle, to todayโs #MeToo and womenโs rights movement: Every achievement was fought for. But we are not there yet.
Equal pay, physical self-determination, protection from violence, equal opportunities - none of this can be taken for granted in 2024. That is why we must continue to be loud, strengthen each other and stand up for our rights.
March 8 reminds us that no progress is guaranteed if we donโt fight for it. The world belongs to us too - and we will not be stopped. โโ๏ธ

March is here, spring is around the corner, and so is my birthday!!!!
I canโt believe these are the last few days of my 30s. Honestly, this has been an amazing, yet wild ride!!!
However, this season, this last few months, have been so important to me. They have been filled with reflection, growth, and transformation and Iโve never felt more ready to step into this new decade!!!! ๐ผ๐บ๐ธ
