Now Live: Frontline Workers on the Back Burner, A VAVPP Report & Action Plan
We’re honoured to share the outcomes of a two‑year research collaboration between VAFCS and the SFU Faculty of Health Sciences, grounded in the voices and experiences of frontline workers, sector leaders, and policy makers.
The findings highlight urgent challenges facing anti‑violence frontline workers - from unstable funding to heavy workloads and affordability pressures.
To support real change, the accompanying Action Plan offers 20 recommendations aimed at improving systemic accountability, securing sustainable funding, ensuring living wages, increasing access to affordable housing, and strengthening organizational support across the sector.
