🚨 Big News! 🚨 I’m honored to share that I’ve been appointed to the GO Virginia Region 6 Council, where I’ll help guide over $1 million annually in funding to support high-growth industries across our region. In addition to leading the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, I also serve on the Virginia African American Advisory Board, where I advise the Governor on economic, educational, and cultural initiatives that impact communities across the Commonwealth. This isn’t just a title — it’s a seat at the table where real change happens, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent and advocate for inclusive growth and innovation. What an amazing time. Words truly cannot express our gratitude. Thank you to Amazon and the Prince William County Community Foundation for investing in the future of small businesses and entrepreneurs through the Rise & Recognize Breakfast. It was an honor to celebrate alongside incredible nonprofit grantees from Prince William and Loudoun Counties who are creating real impact in our communities. We are especially grateful that the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce Foundation was awarded a $10,000 grant that will directly support Cohorts 7 & 8 of our Expanding Business Ecosystems (EBE) Business Accelerator Program. Cohort 7 is currently in progress with 40 businesses actively participating, and Cohort 8 will begin in September with registration opening soon. This is what ecosystem building looks like. Investing in entrepreneurs. Investing in access. Investing in long-term economic growth. Thank you again to Amazon and PWCCF for believing in this work and continuing to support our business community. Together, we can make a difference. #vabcc #Amazon #PWCCF #SmallBusiness #Entrepreneurship EconomicDevelopment BusinessAccelerator
