dit is een van de meest dierbare (alsniet het meest dierbare) projecten die ik ooit heb gedaan: een radioshow maken met mijn papa, met muziek die we aan elkaar willen laten horen. hier een paar hoogtepunten uit de eerste twee afleveringen van Studio Vaessen, ongeveer elke drie maanden op @microwave.live .

Over the past 7 years, we’ve tried to record as much sets as possible from all the artist that played at our events. Obviously our hard drive can no longer handle this, so it’s time to share some musical stories from the archive.
We start with @v9ra ‘s set from our collab with @matinee.bxl at La Peniche, 19.05.2024.
After a full day enjoying the sun on the deck of the boat, we gathered into the belly of the ship to start a long night of dancing. Seja immediately made everyone dancing in sync like factory workers at the conveyor belt. A perfect start of a wonderful night in the metal engine room.

Op naar de volgende #stuiptrekking met seja aka @v9ra • seja verkent graag de dunne lijn tussen gruizig en groovy, met een zwak voor buitenaardse details en vreemde vocals, vooral uit de underground van de jaren ’80/’90. Schipperend tussen EBM, proto-techno, acid house en electro neemt ze je mee terug naar hoe we ons de toekomst vroeger voorstelden.
