🎬 “Imagine living a horror film… You won’t believe it, but Trauma’s real…” 🩸 I wrote these bars about 4 years ago during a time of heavy turbulence in my own life. COVID restrictions had just lifted, the world felt completely different, and society was navigating a bizarre, unsettling shift. Fast forward to today, and it feels very apropos—the world is just as chaotic. When I first heard the dark, Nightmare on Elm Street energy of this beat, it instantly made me think of horror films, and how systemic trauma, industry madness, and societal fears often play out exactly like a horror script we don't realize we are acting in. Major shoutout to the producer of the instrumental, @mangazimusic . He reached out to me back then, but we ultimately didn’t agree on terms. I don’t know if he ever ended up doing anything with this beat, but the vibe was undeniable, and I just thought it would fit perfectly with the raw energy of the new project (using this for promotional use only 🎧).
