#Stand4Sudan (@mai_iux ) explores how political conversations can be conveyed through clothing in the context of the recent Sudanese revolution (19 December until late 2019) ending a dictatorship that spans over 30 years by former President Omar Al Bashir.This project showcases the invisible histories woven into the style of the tobe and poetically transforms the path to the revolution with thousands of women participating.

Year one finished their 'Which Button?' project today. Designing and constructing components of a planetary weather system consisting of 1 button/slider/knob per module.
They've carefully considered affordance, signifiers and the value of metaphor in interface design.
They also monopolised the @3dworkshoplcc and done some great prototyping and iterating on designs. Props also to @creativetechnologylab for their support.

Jonah is an award winning artist, researcher, and writer. He received his Ph.D. in the Disruptive Design Team of the Networking and Telecommunications Research Group (NTRG), Trinity College Dublin. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Digital Media and Networked Culture in the department of Journalism and Media Studies at Lehman College , City University of New York.
He will discussing his projects and work in the theme of “Critical Networked Experience” that challenge and subvert accepted notions of network interaction and socialization.
