Learn about seal art. Seals have been used for centuries in many parts of the world but have gained popularity and even become necessities around multiple areas of Asia. Today, seals are still used in several countries and can hold the same legal power as a signature.
Join us on May 22, 1 pm for "Lasting Impressions: East Asian Seal Art Across Time and Media 2."

Sorry. Not sorry for activating the BiblioCafe during the summer. We have puzzles, board games, and posters for you to engage with. Take a break from studying to recharge.
It may be sunny outside but inside the library we are celebrating the frozen world at our lobby book shelf! Check it out (and the cute little animal cutouts).
The Summer Reading Challenge is back! Pick up a list of reading categories from the Ask Us desk and receive a sticker for each book that you read.
.
You can then drop a ballot into the box and be eligible for Cinecenta tickets!

Join us for a presentation by Dr. Ajnura Akbaš (@warchildhood ) and discussion moderated by Dr. Matt Huculak(@uviclibraries ) and MA candidate Olivia Kozlovic (@universityofvictoria ) as they discuss community-engaged approaches to documenting and archiving the1992-1995 Bosnian War.

Day in the life of Paloma: Finals season edition 📚
A balance of focus, support, and small moments to recharge☀️
While a sweet treat from BiblioCafe and some sunshine in the quad help her get through the day, UVic resources, like booking study spaces in the library and attending exam review sessions at the Math & Stats Centre, make finals season a little more manageable.
Good luck on your exams & finals! 🙌
