Hello from Copenhagen 👋 Architecture student Isabella Main traveled from UT Austin to Copenhagen, Denmark to work with @adeptarchitects as part of @utsoaprp . The Professional Residency Program (PRP) is an honors program that offers upper-level architecture students a unique opportunity to expand their education through work experience in the architectural profession. PRP has provided internship opportunities to those in the Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture programs since 1974 and, over the past 25 years, our students have been linked with 300 firms in 30 countries. You did it! Congratulations to our students on successful Final Reviews. 👏 Each semester, guest critics join our faculty and students on campus to review the culmination of studio work from the semester. This spring showcase brought out incredible work that highlighted the innovation, ingenuity and insight from their studio trips to Puerto Rico, Mexico, Pharr, Brooklyn, Spain and beyond. From utilizing recycled materials to employing AI-driven design, their work inspired us all. Special shoutout to our students that completed their *final* Final Review. Next stop: graduation!

On Friday, May 1, we invite you to attend the 2026 End Of Year Show, INDEX. The exhibition is designed by Jeremy Atticus Smith (M.Arch) and Evan Altenburg (M.Arch). The event features a student awards portion as well. INDEX. celebrates the student work from the 2025-2026 school year in Mebane Gallery of Goldsmith Hall by creating an exhibition that fosters embodied experience. After a year of creating images and abstractions, the exhibit grounds student work in a field of the real. The work is experienced as sacred and not as spectacle. Instead of overwhelming sensory stimulation, work is presented calmly and confidently. Details: • Friday, May 1 • Opening remarks at 5 pm • Mebane Gallery See you there! You can read more about the exhibition at the link in our bio.
