The Library Unicorn is here to remind you to be respectful of your peers this exam season! 📚📚
Our beloved unicorn has had a fabulous makeover, and trotted their way down to level 7 to greet you when you enter the library on those long study grind days 🫂💖🦄
Ever been confused about printing?? Consider this your asmr guide 😋
Refer to the new and improved instructions (including QR codes and links now, yay) above every library printer if you get stuck!
Printers are located on levels 7, 8 and 9 of the Library 📰📰
Hooray! @simonchristophergreiner has officially moved into his studio and is hitting the ground running with some activities and workshops ✂️🤞🏼
Swing by Building 2, level 7 on Thursdays between 2-4pm to learn how to make masks through a guided workshop with Simon. This’ll be a more in-depth opportunity to learn cardboard sculpting techniques, using more advanced tools (hot glue guns and cutting blades).
Outside of the official workshop times, he’ll also be around for you to ask questions and chat, or participating in self-guided drop-in mask making sessions (any time, day or night). Grab a blank mask off the wall, some scissors and tape, and get making! 🌟
Drop by Simon’s studio and say hi!! 👋🏼👋🏼
If you’re looking to unwind from a stressful assignment, day, or maybe you just really want to read, look no further than our Fiction Collection! 📚
Located on level 7 of the Library in the Cosy Corner, our Fiction Collection is home to modern stories, from romance, crime, fantasy, manga, and much more!
Stickers on the backs and spines of books give you a cute little guide of what each book might have in store for you 😋
During STUVAC, we bid adieu to the final installation of ‘The Big Vertigo’ project in collaboration with @utsvertigo 🌟🌟
Over eight months, The Big Vertigo took on may forms in our Library — first, a community scrapbook activity where you were invited to make your very own Vertigo spread, which consisted of your musings, drawings, and LOTS of collages. Your pages were then scanned and immortalised in two A3 magazines and some fabulous bookmarks, available to view during our final phase of the project: the community wall!
This wall was up for 7 weeks this semester, and boy, did you guys get to town on it! During its last days, almost every inch of this four-sided wall was covered in your creations. They ranged from just artsy, to political, to silly, to emotional and introspective. All of them had something to say 🫀
Enjoy 20 tiny slices of what was an enormous, vibrant and expressive collaborative wall. Thank you for sharing a piece of you with us ❤️🩹❤️🩹
Looking out for each other is the key to a respectful and productive library!
When you encounter a situation with a fellow student in the library, remember to think: WWUD?
🙈✨🦄🌈💖
Simon, our 2026 Creative in Residence, has moved into his studio! Enjoy this BTS footage from his move in week 😋
Keep your eyes peeled for workshop announcements — in the meantime, come by and say hi! 👀👀
