Kiera’s first runway show at the age of 16. I give my congratulations to you for achieving your dreams, creating and hosting your first runway show. I wish you all the best in the future with your dreams and I hope that we could continue to collaborate with each other in the future as you continue to achieve your goals.
The story behind this dress goes beyond just a piece of fabric. I met Keira at the Red Cross Runway Show this year, and from the moment we met, I knew she had something special. We stayed in touch, and when I had the opportunity to represent Mexico at Miss Multiverse International, she immediately agreed to create my national costume.
Keira worked closely with me, immersing herself in Mexican culture. She became so involved that she truly captured the essence of an authentic dress, using upcycled fashion and small pieces of Mexican fabric. This dress holds so much meaning for both of us that I proudly wore it yesterday at her show.
Keira is a young woman who inspires and impacts the lives of other women, no matter their age or stage in life. Despite our age gap, she has shown me that with determination, focus, and discipline, you can achieve your dreams at any point in life.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Keira. I am sure she has a brilliant path ahead, and I am so proud to call her my friend and to have had the privilege of working with her.
