The largest student-run Filipinx American event in the nation has finally come to an end! On behalf of @utfsa and @sifa.exec , we hope you had an amazing time in Austin. This weekend would not have been possible without the dedication and energy of our community.
Congratulations to our overall winner, @tamuphilsa , and special congratulations to @islandersfsa , recipients of the 2026 Reggie Perez Barkada Award.

UTFSA Presents: Intern Class of ‘26 ✨
With the ‘25-’26 academic year officially over, we want to thank this year’s interns for putting their time, dedication, and effort towards FSA!
Especially since it was our Goodphil host year, our interns worked so hard, volunteering and setting up the event to make it a success. We understood how difficult it was to show up the whole weekend with early call times, running scores, and ensuring communication with participants and guests, even while participating in Goodphil itself!
Another event that wouldn’t have been such a success without our interns was our banquet, Gala Ng Perlas! Executing and bringing the vision of Gala Ng Perals to life was no easy feat, balancing midterms and finals during banquet week. Our different committees, led by the decoleads, came together and gave FSA a beautiful end to the year.
Success is not guaranteed without effort. We are so grateful for each and every individual intern’s commitment to tabling, fundraisers, events, and more! It never went unnoticed.
Thank you, Intern Class of ‘26, for everything this semester and for our Prezterns leading them. Thank you for leaving FSA with a closer community than before. 🤍

Looking back, FSA defined my college experience and is one of the best things I could have the in my four years. I’ve made the best memories, closest friends, and achieved a good amount of success. It’s my home and I loved every part of it (storage chair is okay I guess… lol)
