Not the one that makes everyone else comfortable but leaves you feeling invisible in your own love story.
If you want tacos instead of a plated dinner? Do it.
If you want to thrift your dress and get married barefoot in the desert? Hell yes.
If you don’t want a bridal party or a first dance or centerpieces? Amazing.
Your people will still love you. The ones who matter will get it.
And the ones who don’t? It was never really about napkin colors anyway.
You’re not too much. Or too weird. Or too sentimental.
You’re just in love. And brave enough to make it yours.

When I was 13, I made a vision board and wrote, “I want to be a model.” But deep down, I don’t know if I really believed it could happen. I am short, I definitely didn’t fit the typical model size for 2006, and constantly battled self-doubt. Still, that didn’t stop me from dressing up, taking pictures, and dreaming.
Fast forward to now—when @reneeatelierbridal called me, asking if I’d be available to model, I literally cried on the phone. (Yes, *actually* cried.) Then I danced around my room while getting ready because… how do you even process a moment like that?!
And now, I can officially say I’m published in Rocky Mountain Bridal Magazine. I can’t even put into words what an honor it was to be part of this. It was everything I dreamed of and more.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this experience and for helping me achieve a lifelong goal! ❤️
