We had the honor to design the slickest floral studio around. Fully stainless. Fully modular. A studio built for color and constant rearrangement. Come by for the best. @blomlab

Part of the spatial design for @blomlab ’s physical store Microscopic cell structures are based on simple geometric shapes that fit together in a modular way. They show us how basic forms can create complex yet flexible systems. This idea became the starting point for the design of BLOMLAB‘s physical store. The interior combines clean, straight lines with softer, organic shapes inspired by nature. The design is influenced by how the different parts of a flower can be rearranged and combined. In nature, all elements exist in symbiosis, working together as a system rather than as isolated parts. Material choices and joinery were shaped by the store’s climate and the colour palette of the products. concept, design & production by @ususlab

The Yaki Booth (焼きブース) stands as a unique typology in contemporary furniture: both workbench and reliquary, a functional tool and a vessel for treasured records. Shaped by the ritual of vinyl playback, it follows three principles: simple connections, honest materials and form following function. Hand‑crafted from locally sourced Douglas fir, the booth is built entirely with traditional wooden joinery — no screws, no metal, no glue. Each joint is cut and fitted by hand, reflecting the same precision and care required when working with vinyl. Finished with the Japanese Yaki Sugi technique, the charred and oiled surface protects the wood and deepens its texture. Genelec 8030 speakers are flown above the Yaki Booth using a custom-designed individual mounting system. This setup allows the stereo field to be centered around the DJ while also enabling the speakers to be rotated to project sound into the room when needed. designed & built at @ususlab

Flux Flora How do you house an organic shape, a living organ with existential needs like water, light and stability — within materials that are durable yet profoundly inhuman? This vase is born from a simple principle: one element repeated three times, refined with a custom detail to create an organic rhythm reminiscent of growth. Tilted test tubes, held by machined aluminum, lean inward, exposing roots to the outside, suspended in a vessel more aligned with chemistry than nature. The design thrives on contrast: an organic silhouette evoking a flower, set against the stark, futuristic presence of industrial materials — a dialogue between life and the artificial frameworks that sustain it. designed & built at @ususlab

At the entrance to Stuttgart’s Schlosspark on a garage driveway at the edge of Stuttgart’s Schlosspark, Alex and David designed a pavilion that resists permanence: recyclable, temporary, and light. University Stuttgart Institute for Public Buildings LBBW

Built to connect with skaters at every level, this piece draws inspiration from NYC’s loading ramps and gritty street textures. It combines familiar shapes with smooth, ASMR-like roll on sensations. thanks to @heidelberg_skateboarding and to @itslinussofuckoff and @habelot for the support!
