USPA student Thotsawat Garnero is making his mark on the international stage. ⛷️
Thotsawat recently competed at the FIS Junior Alpine World Ski Championships in Narvik, finishing with impressive results in the Slalom race:
✅ 50th overall
✅ 8th among Under-18 athletes
✅ 2nd athlete among Asian nations
And he's not slowing down. Thot is currently training at Huafa Snow Bonski in Shenzhen, the world's largest indoor ski resort, ahead of two upcoming FIS alpine slalom races, organized by the Hong Kong National Ski Team.

Huge congratulations to USPA 12th grader Cecile Brown, who took home Gold at the U.S. Giant Slalom Nationals this February, competing in the para standing women's category! 🥇
Cecile competed against para athletes across three categories: visually impaired, sitting, and standing, with each category crowning its own champion.
And when it came to the conditions? The lack of snow in Utah didn't slow her down one bit. As Cecile said, "Being an East Coast athlete has prepared me for unideal conditions."
We're proud to support Cecile's journey and are excited to see what she accomplishes next.

Meet Kelley Robertson, Department Head of Faculty and English Language Arts Teacher. 💙
Kelley has been part of the USPA team since July 2022. As a former student-pianist and multi-sport athlete, she knows firsthand what it takes to balance a passion with academics.
Whether connecting 1:1 with students or keeping in touch during a busy competition season, Kelley's approach is all about flexibility and building real independence.
"I don't 'need' to meet with them unless they need to meet with me. This is the beauty of what we offer at USPA, and it really develops our students' sense of independence and self-confidence."
One of Kelley's favorite memories is last spring, when two USPA students, Coco Curry, Class of 2025, and Ivan Williams, Class of 2025, visited her in Chattanooga, TN, even getting to meet her baby daughter. Moments like these are what make our USPA community so special.
