‘The Viewing Room’ will open on Thursday the 12th of February at 11:00.
The Viewing Room offers a more intimate way to experience art — a thoughtfully curated selection of artworks alongside distinctive pieces from Art Stop, our boutique space dedicated to beautiful, collectible and art-led objects.
Designed as a place to slow down and look closely, The Viewing Room invites visitors to step away from the pace of the high street and into a setting where conversations matter. Here, paintings, works on paper, small sculptures and unique finds sit together naturally, encouraging new connections between fine art, craft and design.
Alongside original artworks, you’ll discover carefully chosen items from Art Stop — artist-made gifts, ceramics, books, prints, textiles and one-of-a-kind pieces — each selected with the same eye and integrity that defines the gallery programme.
At the heart of The Viewing Room is something increasingly rare: time and personal attention. Visitors are warmly encouraged to talk with gallery director Sandra Higgins, whose one-to-one, informed and approachable guidance offers a bespoke way to discover and collect art. Whether you’re an established collector or buying your first piece, this is a space to ask questions, explore ideas and find work that truly resonates.
More than an exhibition, The Viewing Room is a conversation — about living with art, supporting artists, and choosing objects with meaning.

What a great show in Walcott Chapel in Bath.
7 artists joined forces to create a collection of painting, ceramics and textiles art. The exhibition was called "Capturing a Moment ".
A very well attended event, a great venue with a vibrant crowd, nice wine and nibbles and above all some interesting art on the walls.
