Zhou Li’s new paintings are inspired by the flowers in her garden, which she sees as cosmic mirrors, capturing the eternal cycle of growth and decay.
In ‘The world in a flower: Metamorphosis No.2’, the artist presents a poetic and philosophical meditation on transformation, nature and the feminine spirit. The spiritual weight of colour, the use of natural imagery, and lyrical abstraction gesture towards a deeply personal cosmology, one in which every petal holds the vastness of the universe.
