Congratulations to Daniela Zamora Alviarez on being named @usouthflorida 2026 Ralph C. Wilcox Outstanding Graduate!
On the heels of that news, she also received the USF Golden Bull Award and two prestigious national fellowships for graduate study — the GEM Fellowship and the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
A mechanical engineering major in the USF College of Engineering, Daniela is advancing energy-efficient computing through research in nanotechnology and materials science. She will begin her doctoral program in materials science and engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign this fall.
