Meet Cadence or 'Candee' for short, a supporting character within the witch girls story. She runs the famous 'Melody Marzipan' a bakery opposite Rozen city hall that the girls and Teresah often frequent to!
Candee acts as a mentor and provides insight into Teresah's backstory. Being the former holder of the Solarian mage title in Rozen city's magic council, Teresah often looks to her advice and breakfast/dessert options haha 🍰. Candee as a mage specialises in a niche blend of cooking and music spells! Think cupcakes that can coax you into singing in 3 part harmony haha 🎶 , buut actually! before this a young ms candee was known to be talented at combat spells, she's a secret baddie haha ⚔️
2nd slide shows Candee's daughter and granddaughter, Melody of whom the bakery is named after and Aria the protege and inheritor of the Melody Marzipan. Melody isnt such a great cook (ironically) but a talented musician, she's a theatre singer, teacher and multi-instrumentalist 🎼 I thought Candee would be a great subject for this series, because who better to encapsulate the bright happy fun vibes of yellow 💛

Meet Philipa or 'Pippa' for short, you may have seen her in a few posts waaay back when I first started this account! (check my story for some throw backs) anywayssss The story that Pippa is apart of is set in Rozen city ( the same setting as the witch girls story! ✨) a place where magic is highly regulated. Flower elves such her self gravitate towards the city for its warmth and sociability, however the city is quite selective with their residents with criteria that a magical beings 'affliction' is not deemed as demonic or cursed. In Pippa's case she can grow flowers from her hair during certain seasons in the year! 🌼 - this is considered a low level affliction
Pippa studies design at a local college and is best friends with B (Bellamy) a vampire, who unlike her, lives in the city under a carefully maintained false identity. On the 2nd slide you can see more of Pippa's relationships, other ocs that you may have seen on my page before!♦️ 🌸 💠 🌼
If I had to describe our flowery babe, I'd say she has a very calm/ chill disposition with elegant princess-like vibes hehe. She's also super loyal and protective of those she cares about 🧡 funfactss she's quite skilled at painting/drawing, unlike me she likes to do rendering lol and is an action anime fan! - there are actually quite a few drawings I've done of her with some references of some animes I think she'd like! Anywaysss I hope you guys like herrr 🧡 and stay tuned for the next illustration in this series! 💛

Before my witch girls, this was thee witch girl. Meet Katherine ~. Her story is set in a middle age / renaissance - esque era, it's pretty short, pretty tragic, and honestly pretty fitting for this 'cursed' lover girl! I have yet to actually feature her on my page, but I've got a handful of drawings of her dating waay back in my fetus pre-teens era and possibly even further back?? But she's basically my token hopeless romantic, love sick witch girlie and she, like my 363283 billion ocs lives fully rent free in my brain 🧠 I hope to draw more of her in the future so this is a bit of a reference if you ever see her again! 💘🔥

As for the rest of her team:
Her first pokemon was Swablu > Altaria 🌥️ which her mum raised as an egg and gave to her as a child! Her second, Snorut > Glalie ❄️ was caught during an snowfight lol. Funfact her mum also has an Altaria and instead of Glalie a frostlass! . Swinub 🦣 was originally caught by her dad, he gave swinub to her to train but turns out the lil guy is super snoozy and lazy lol, so I figure swinub never evolves because because he doesn't like to fight and likes being small enough to sleep on Irene's head haha 💤. Through the help of her team of 3 she catches her ace Squirtle 🐢, and so forth with elekid who is just a baby ⚡🥺. For zizagoon I figure she gets him through trading! I had ideas to give her a murkrow or corvinight, but they weren't quite her vibe, so I imagine she found out that one of her friends caught a zizagoon in galar and once she saw it she was like, 🤩😍💙 aestheticcc twin, I must have them!! lmao🖤 😂
Picking out this team was so fun to do! I think they all really represent Irene well! Also hope you learned a little more about the witch girls throughout this whole series! 💖
Pokewitches 2/3 🐦💖 Nova and Pidgey 💖🐦
Swipe back to part 1🦋 for some more context but basically this is my witch girls pokemon AU ✨ Nova's familiar animals are Sparrows, which you'd figure I'd pick Spearow to represent here butttt,, Pidgey matches her vibe so much better, also I can imagine older Nova with an elegant mega Pidgeot ✨🐦
As for the rest of her team:
Nova's first pokemon would be Bulbasaur > now Ivysaur who she raised from an egg. Also in this AU she would be from a family of breeders that specialise in grass pokemon/ she lives in an area with lots of grass types🌿 .
I also considered giving her a Cherubi as it fits with her flower elf lineage and all but I wanted her to have at least one poison type so Ivysaur was perfect! 🌺
Nova would've caught Pidgey 🐦 through the help of Ivysaur and her Riolu 🐺 who was gifted by and originally caught by her mother
Her team of 3 would then subsequently help her in catching the skidish Ralts > now Kirlia 🌸 and so forth with Misdreavus, who evolves into Mismagius 👻 after a mentor gifts her a dusk stone.
Technically,,, teenage Nova's team only has 5 members as she does not meet and catch the legendary Jiraichi 🌟 until she's an adult; also by this time Pidgey would have evolved into Pidgeot and Kirlia into Gardevoir ✨
I originally didn't want to give the girls legendaries but, Jiraichi just had to be one of Nova's pokemon, it's just way too fitting, it was meant to be!! 😫🌟
I also tried to make my picks best mirror her character arc (in her original story and potential future arc 👀) saurrrr yeah, again highly recommend pokemon AUs they're really great for character development, I have so many Nova ideas now haha 🧠✨
Pokewitches 1/3 🦋💜 Melany and Vivillon 💜🦋 I've been playing a lot of of pokemon lately and it got me thinking.. 🤔🌟✨What if my witch girls where pokemon trainers??
Initially I wanted to draw a group pic with each girl and her team of 6 pokemon, but I got kinda overwhelmed so I simplified drew them with their pokemon that best represented their familiar animal! For Melany this of course is Vivillon who represents butterflies~🦋
Now onto her team:
Mel's first pokemon was Clefa > now Clefairy 💗 and a shiny✨ Eevee > now Umbreon 🌒 that were both given to her by her parents and raised from eggs!
Mel met her Ponyta > Rapidash 🔮, Vivillon 🦋 and Brionne 🌊 after they all followed her back home / wouldn't leave her alone lol 😅. Her pontya was mostly raised in daycare as Mel was still quite young when they met. Spewpa lived secretly in the family backyard and only introduced themselves Mel until they evolved into Vivillon. Popplio was helped by Vivillon who ran away to find them after they met Mel at the beach 😅🏖️
Basically,,,, Mel hasn't really had to catch any pokemon they just gravitate towards her like a disney princess haha 😂 her ✨shiny Floette 🌼 is technically the only pokemon that Mel has technically 'caught', Floette didn't stay in the pokeball but ended up following Mel around until they officially joined her team haha .
I also wanted to give Mel a moth-like pokemon (ex. Venomoth, Mothim or Dustox) because her familiar animal is technically all types of lepidoptera but I wanted to maintain the visual diversity, so pretty happy with the team I created here!
But yeah these were saurrr fun to pick out, AUs are kind of a great writing/character building exercise so I recommend! ✨ Also pls stay tuned for the other girls and their teams as well!

February study ft. The peoples princess ~ Melany ~ 🦋✨🥰
I had to chip my way a bit through this study, the secondary light source really through me off at first but eventually I got there in the end! 😊 This is mostly a face study as the body and hair I mostly kinda winged, also the ears a little too - the original ref the shadows and lighting for the body/ears were pretty covered so I opted to use a csp model / some other refs to give me a rough idea 🤔 and the hair and clothes I kinda kept graphic - very klimit-esque I guess? Hehe 🎨🖼️ oh also some of Mel's features are quite opposite from the ref I used, ex. Downturned eyes & nose vs upturned eyes & nose (pointy ears too!) so that aspect made it a little bit harder also anatomy and form wise 🤔 though I'm overall pretty happy with how this study went! I really love drawing Mel I honestly cooked so much with her design 😂🦋💜 though it does feel like something is missing? I think I could've pushed the shadows and highlights a bit more, maybe make her hair a bit more detailed? 🤔 Idk but I didn't wanna ruminate over it too long, hands down one of my fav Mel pieces for sureeee tho 😭💜💜💜
