Savvy Simo Cory/Devon Newberry finished an unforgettable Elite16 Brasilia run – knocking out Olympic champs Ana Patricia/Duda in the Round of 16 and then defeating Latvian World champions Tina/Anastasija for the bronze.
So much grit, heart and composure from this team all week. Congratulations, Savvy and Devon, so proud of this journey and what’s ahead. 🇺🇸

Playing in just their third tournament together, the pair upset Olympic champions Ana Patricia/Duda 🇧🇷 in the Round of 16, and then won over Stam/Schoon 🇳🇱 (seeded 7th in the tourney) in the quarterfinals.
They’ll play top-ranked Carol/Rebecca Sunday, while their alma mater, UCLA, plays for gold at the NCAA Beach Championship!
