“Still I Remain,” a solo exhibition by James Howard Collins, opening today, May 7, 2026.
Based in Vinegar Hill, just adjacent to DUMBO, Collins creates works by projecting wire-formed
figures onto canvas and tracing their shadows. While the sculptures themselves are spare and
structural, the resulting images carry a quiet sense of time, organic presence, and subtle
narrative.
The exhibition will also be part of DUMBO First Thursday Gallery Walk, Thursday, May 7th
from 6:00-8:00 PM.

The group exhibition featuring seven artists with roots in Japan was successfully ends. Thank you for coming all.
These experiences shape ways of seeing, which gradually take form as artistic expression.
The works evoke inner landscapes—fleeting images that arise when the eyes are closed.
What emerges is a quiet resonance: sensibilities shaped within the environment of Japan.

The Many Lives of Cats & Companions
We are pleased to present a group exhibition featuring 22 artists from DUMBO and beyond, working across painting, photography, sculpture, and more.
Across art history, cats have appeared as both mysterious figures and intimate companions. In this exhibition, they become a lens through which artists explore observation, emotion, and the shifting boundaries between human and non-human worlds.
From distant observers to deeply connected companions, each work offers a different way of seeing—inviting us to reconsider everyday life through the quiet yet powerful presence of the cat.
