A retired Boeing 747-400 is currently being mounted in between two new residential towers at 1200 Stewart Street in Seattle. The 747, designed to connect the two towers, is expected to house commercial and public spaces. I’m excited to see the project once it’s complete! It’s going to be fascinating.

The loss of Sanchez hit harder than I expected. UretskyAviation is taking a break. For now, please enjoy his purrs.

Today we said an unexpected goodbye to our dear Sanchez. Sanchez joined our family exactly five years ago today. He was only a couple weeks old. I had to bottle feed him and his sister Delta for the first few days we had them. He was the snuggliest buddy - but only on his terms. His purrs could heal any ailment. Unfortunately his health deteriorated after a life-saving procedure last week. We love you, Sanchez 🐾
