Hi everyone,
I finally did something that I told myself for the past 9 years that I’d never do & that I was nervous to do as well. And that was showing my face and telling people that I am the owner of “Urban Throwbacks”. Even though for many years my family & close friends would tell me to do so and I wouldn’t, I honestly didn’t think that most people would even care but then I’d see people commenting “who’s behind this page?” I even got a message from someone asking me was I black at least.. lol.
So about 2 years ago I said “ok I’ll do it” but then I got cold feet again but this year I got tired of holding myself back and to stop being so nervous about it (as you can see in the video) & decided to tell everybody “ Hello! my name is Maurice, i’m 28 years old and I’m from Philly” and I’m so thankful for all the love & support everyone gives my page, It went from me just doing all of this for fun because I walk around with movies & songs in my head all day… to an actual brand.
And even though many people tell me that I market this pretty well i still know for sure that it wouldn’t have gotten this far if it wasn’t for all of you! The engagement is amazing & according to me WE ARE A FAMILY! So be sure to invite y’all favorite cousin (me) to the cookouts from now on 😂..
Thanks again everyone, I love and appreciate y’all more than any of you could imagine ❤️
