New work published. This time I want to shout out Gaussian splatting tech. The fish bites were scanned by our tech lead then exported to Gaussian splatting format for my animation. I use a plugin to animate the splatting objects with lightning fast performance in After Effects. It has the limitation. You can't really change the textures and lighting, however it was perfect in this case. I couldn't imagine how much time and skills we would need if we go for 3D modelling or scanning to 3d objects which would be way harder and time consuming. What's more important? It looks insanely good.
Let's remember we have other techs not only AI.đ

Incredible! I've watched this a few weeks ago and I love it. A low budget animation more like an indie film wins Oscar. Congrats for the team and it proves again a good story and solid art skill are always the key. Hopefully it will make more companies focus on the story rather than adding up high tech tools. Also congrats Blender, an amazing open source 3d software.
