Over the passed decade I’ve not only witnessed but had a hand in the development of “sub genres” and “subcultures” as the leading voice in todays society. From the global expansion of our sound & vision to the mass adoption of our taste & aesthetics,the streets have become the heartbeat of our industry. 2 years ago i decided it was time to claim what was rightfully ours. We needed our own platform,a place where the convergence of global street culture felt at home. Im so blessed to have had good role model in my life, growing up my uncle Jose was more like my pops. I wasn’t going to post you because our relationship is something i always kept private,anything to do with you or Michelle i protected from the world.I got to where i am in life by sharing so much of my journey but the hardest parts i dealt with on my own because who the fuck am i? With so many imperfections i felt unworthy of speaking on such sensitive topics.Who am i to tell someone how to deal with life when i was barely figuring it out myself but i am somebody im YOUR son.Everything i am,i am because of you either directly or indirectly. The past few years of my life have been so transformative that i had learned to prepare for the regret that was coming but nothing could’ve prepared me for how fast I’d lose you & how little time i had to repair things but that’s how God works.His time is perfect and his plan for you was freedom & glory. Knowing you found your faith in your final yours and me finding mine in my prime is clear indication that our spirits will forever be aligned and you’ll always watch over me. I’m sorry i didn’t do more,I’m sorry you got dealt the hand you did but more than anything I’m sorry you never got to see the man i became.I’m everything you showed me ,respectful,kind,compassionate,nobody’s ever played with me or the family, I give before i receive, i help before im helped & i always put people first.My list of flaws is a mile long but you raised me to be pure above all so i walk with your same confidence.
