It’s an animated short film produced by Marco Orozco @uppercutt___ , Eat Rice Studio @eatricestudio , and Heritage Works.
The short film tells the story of a young Assane Konte and how a single moment at a neighbor’s house sparked a lifelong love of movement, community, and cultural expression.
Created by a small team of animators and talented College of Creative Studies interns, this heartwarming film celebrates memory, legacy, and the power of dance.

I started this as a fun social painting prompt, the second slide shows how much I got done with my friend 💔 but I kept going because I believed in the vision lol. I highly recommend you go rummaging through dollar vinyl with your friends and trying this out too it was alot of fun all around.

We called this one "Ideas in Bloom", essentially we wanted to tell a story about the journey of an idea but with a bit of ourselves incorporated into each scene.

For this project we wanted to share a meaningful message about time.
We often worry about the time that is left for us and with loved ones. However, we should only enjoy the present and look back with love and happiness to the memories we have made.

Some character exploration for my latest idea. Last slide is a character I made in the middle of last year. I’m by no means a character designer but I’m starting to enjoy creating the dynamic between these two. (Also the first image is a study of a capoeira photoshoot I believe??? I promise I’m not a hack fraud I just can’t find the reference image I used anywhere 😭)
