Today, March 20th, is not only the first day of Spring, it is also the World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People! A day to celebrate youth and growth in so many ways, from the buds that will soon be on the trees in Southeastern Wisconsin to the budding talent we get to see in UPAF Members like @first.stage or the Next Narrative Monologue Competition happening at @milwrep (Regionals are this Monday)!
We know the impact of the arts is huge on the young people who participate in them, whatever career they go on to pursue—but it’s also a major impact on young audiences, allowing those children to investigate ideas, feelings, places and times in ways they may never have thought of before! UPAF is proud to celebrate and help fund these experiences every day – but especially on World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People!
