Today I called @up_mtl to apply for my role and get involved in the action.
There is so much talent in this city, I am so excited to have a chance of leaving a mark and grow as community.
If one of us shines, we all shine. đ€đ€
Stay tuned, wish me luck.
I know I can do this. đ«ĄđđŻ

March 2nd, 2026 marks 30 years since we organized Aerosol Funk, pre-dating Under Pressure by 5 months. At the time we had never seen any graffiti events or gatherings. We had 11 writers, along with DJs, such as 13 year old @atrak , @devious_dj , and I feel like DJ Blast spun too, plus break crew Golden Breakers/Tactical Crew, and the attendees all crammed into an indoor common area at Timer's loft building, all breathing in Krylon fumes. Apologies to anybody I missed, many brain cells were fried that day.
Absent from the group photo is Ha!, shout out to her, wherever she is (mech dog is her piece). And also not tagged is Serch, who painted with Dyske.

Group shot; Louise Gauthier.

I first met Mr Myl in LaHavane, Cuba in 2006. We painted in the street together before I left. And then we never met until last year in the graff festival of Hamilton in Ontario. He came to Montreal and we improvised a fresh last-minute painting. This year for Under Pressure I invited him to paint again but this time with more planning. We decided to explore the relation between solitude and finding a physical and emotionnal refuge. In only 3 days we rock this massive wall. For my part, I used a picture I did of my brother Gyver aka Noir Ink grime. I really like this collab and I hope you ll like it too.
