Activities Awards 2026 🏆
The University of Nottingham Debating Union has been awarded Student Group of the Year! A reflection of the dedication, passion, and community built by every single member throughout the year. From competitions and socials to the countless debates in between, this society has become a place where people grow in confidence, challenge ideas, and find their voice. Thank you to everyone who took part in this incredible society ✨✨
Look forward to seeing you next year!
And finally we can’t celebrate the new committee without looking back at the stellar year we’ve had! It’s been a busy, chaotic, but such a rewarding year for everyone so take a look at what the society has been up to!
Debate is officially over for the year (everyone say thank you to exams for that!)
Congrats to the new committee! Good luck, not that you need it.
Shoutout to the old committee for somehow keeping everything running, you all did an amazing job this year.
If you’re back next year, see you then. If not, hope NDU was worth the stress 🫶
(and being publicity this year has been banger, even though most of my job was posting things slightly too late, being on the groupchats made it all worth it! - melissa)
Following our AGM, the NDU is proud to announce the new committee that has been elected for next year! Massive congratulations to all the winners and thank you to participants involved in the AGM
