🏖On Saturday May 9 celebrate the Provincial Day of Action on Litter and join us at Sir Casimir Gzowski Park to become a microplastic scientist for the day as you dig for tiny plastics in the sand! Working in small teams, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to join our researchers and learn standard protocols to monitor and clean up various microplastics, including pre-production plastic pellets, fragments, foam pieces and films.

We found so many cigarette butts this weekend during @agreenerfuture 's annual Butt Blitz! Our trio of JD, Max and Lilianna wandered along the waterfront as they made their way back to @ripleysaquaca to drop-off their haul.
