1. Caroline Appleyard, Co-founder and Scientific Director of Sur180 Therapeutics, Inc, studied in the School of Biological Sciences. The woman-owned company promotes integrative medical care for womenâs well-being and focuses on raising the level of care for endometriosis. You can now study Pharmacology in the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.
2. Elisabeth Feldstein, founder of the Edinburgh University Women in STEM Society
@euwistem , co-founder of a medical device start up and is now working in sustainable technologies.
3. Izzy Harris, who chose to study Engineering after going to an IT's just not for the boys careers event, which supports and inspires female talent into STEM and tech and is now working in fire safety engineering.
4. Katharina Heil, a Programme Manager at ELIXIR, a European research infrastructure for life sciences and recently travelled to Antarctica as part of a global leadership programme for women and non-binary people in STEMM
5. Laura Young, environmental campaigner and ethical influencer who runs the account

6. Lauryn Mwale, who wrote the book "The Shuri Effect: Bridging the gap for young Black women in STEM" in her final year and is now working in business strategy
7. Madeleine Landell, who always wanted to work in the space sector and now works for a start up as a consultant for space businesses.
