All you have to do to enter is stop in, purchase an 8 x 8 canvas or panel for $6, and return your completed artwork to us by June 27. Any medium is welcome as long as the work is original and created with intention. Add elements, deconstruct, or transform the panel or canvas, just be sure it is incorporated in the completed submission. 🖼️ square-d will be on view from July 10 - July 31. Join us on Thursday, April 23 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. for the official book launch of Dreams and Ideas: The Artistry of Costume Designer Winn Morton. Meet the author, Myra Walker, and participate in a Q&A session.   Myra Walker is a UNT Professor Emerita in the College of Visual Arts and Design and former director and curator of the Texas Fashion Collection. Her latest publication, “Dreams and Ideas: The Artistry of Costume Designer Winn Morton,” released by University of North Texas Press, offers the first full-length account of John Winniford “Winn” Morton’s (1928–2022) seven-decade career. The book is the third volume in the “Seeing Texas” series and reflects Walker’s longstanding commitment to advancing scholarship in fashion and design.
