We grew up on stories where she waits… and waits… and waits.

I hardly let people see me undone — in my PJs, crying, or falling apart. Not because there’s anything wrong with that… it’s completely okay to be that way. But I’ve always believed in power dressing.
Even on my worst days, I choose to get up, put myself together, and look presentable. Not for others, but because it shifts something in me. It gives me a sense of control, helps me carry myself better, and slowly lifts how I feel inside.
The downside? People assume I’m always okay because I “look good.” They don’t see what’s underneath. But the truth is — sometimes looking strong is exactly how I survive feeling weak.
