For the first time in Kassel, we welcome COUP\E @coup_e_prod
Clelia Patrono and Jenn Hutt are Brussels-based composers working at the intersection of sound, space and perception.
Both longtime experimental music and sound composers for dance, theatre, film and sound installations, they move between field recordings, live electronics and electroacoustic textures — creating immersive listening environments where sound is felt as much as heard.
The two artists relish the challenge of blending and experimenting with various musical genres, including live electronic, electroacoustic, ambient and soundscape, incorporating both acoustic and electronic instruments, delivered in a performative dimension.
On February 28, they open the evening of B(r)AKE it with a 30-minute Deep Listening.
Deep Listening is an introspective yet collective journey of sensory activation through sound — natural and manipulated. A way to traverse different worlds between imagination and memory. A temporary departure from the ordinary day. A space to receive sound.

In the evening, we open the stage.
At 18:00 the space shifts from practice to performance.
First, the invited artist shares their work. Then the stage opens.
If you would like to perform, you can bring a short piece — something you are researching, experiments, or spontaneous compositions.
We keep a clear performance frame.
The audience comes to witness.

We are drawn to processes that alter us — to the quiet accumulation of pressure, to fragile structures that survive intensity.
Between braking and breaking lies the moment we can no longer contain what is emerging.
The evening begins with a 30-minute Deep Listening by Brussels-based composers @coup_e_prod Through field recordings and live electronics, they create an immersive sonic landscape, where sound is not only heard, but felt

A glimpse from the first edition of Unscripted Space Festival, which took place in Kassel in December 2025.
Three days of practice, presence, and performance.
Days spent in the studio, evenings on stage.
Different bodies, backgrounds, ages, and experiences coming together around improvisation — with attention, care, and curiosity.
We were grateful to work with invited artists @judithsanchezruiz@sukeshrakesh and Julyen Hamilton, and to share this space with all participants, local audiences, and the Kassel dance community who came to watch, witness, and stay.
We leave it here as a trace — and as the starting point of a new cycle.
Unscripted Space continues in 2026.
