Hey Iāve been off Instagram for about 6 years or so - might leave again who knows - lucky to have been a part of some art things Iād really love to share on here and excited to share new things coming up in 2024

Very scary thing to be trying a new experiment in writing out and releasing it publicly. But also exciting to try to write in a new mode than I ever have before. I hope you enjoy and possibly get something out of my experiences in music so far. If you enjoy reading, please stay tuned for the future parts of the essay Iāll be releasing weekly, and more experiments in writing in the future. All of this to celebrate this new release which you can listen to and buy (a book) on Bandcamp and soon wherever you stream music. I would love these essays to become more of a āconversationā because that is where I feel more comfortable talking in this way, but thatās impossible via the written word of the Internet (i.e. comments), so feel free to respond on Substack or IG or hit me up. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh š£š£š£š£š£š£
So relieved to finally push out this work that Iāve been sitting on for a long time, exactly seven years to be exact. Introducing ārehearā, an album of material made from a live setup of no-input mixer connected to Max/MSP for a show at Dorchester Brewing in 2019. Not only am I excited to finally put this out on @transporterbos as a new physical book release (pick it up on Bandcamp), but Iām also going to be writing all about the making of the album as well as detailing my thoughts about my relationship to live electronics and performance at MY NEW SUBSTACK. Follow that for the upcoming series of essays about the album and much more. Go to Bandcamp for high-quality WAV files and keep an eye out on your favorite streaming platform for very much not high quality MP3 file streaming versions, coming very soon. In many ways I see this album and its physical book incarnation as both a snapshot in time of 2019 and 2026 but also as a love-letter to my chosen home of Boston, Massachusetts. In the carousel of images, Iāve placed some before-and-afters of images of me around the time of the making of the album as well as now. To add to my own (and hopefully your) excitement, the very talented @ehrrrdz created an INSANE REMIX of track 1 on the album. Physical book includes some dreamy visuals from a film @russell.sheaffer made around the same time as the sonic material so you definitely want to order that as well as future prints of the visuals on the Transporter Bandcamp. Hope you enjoy!!
