Those of you who've attended our social rides would have seen me wearing a prototype version of an Unley BUG t shirt featuring our new mascot - the Unley BUG!
Well - now you can buy your own! We've found an Australian supplier who do high-quality prints on AS Colour tees and have released a design that anyone can order themselves.
There's one design and colour for now, but we have plans for more to come.

Did you know that the southern edge of the world-renowned Adelaide Parklands is actually owned by the City of Unley?
Unley BUG is calling for a new shared path to be created that would run along the entire southern edge of the parklands along Greenhill Rd.

Celebrating our safer streets!
Eagle-eyed members of our community would have noticed that two of Unley's most important main streets - Goodwood Rd and Unley Rd - have had their speed limits lowered to 50km/hr.
Introduced with no fanfare or even warning by the state government in January, the changes apply to the section of Goodwood Rd between Greenhill Rd and the tramline, and the section of Unley Rd between Wattle St and Cross Rd, making both of these roads 50km/hr for almost their entire length in the city of Unley.
These lower speed limits will benefit everyone. While Unley Rd and Goodwood Rd aren't official cycling routes, people do still cycle on them and it will be far safer for those who do. The experience of walking, shopping or living along these roads will be quieter and safer too, which is especially important as they become home to more people in the future. And it'll be safer and more consistent for drivers too.
While unexpected, these changes are very welcome. Now State Government, let's keep the momentum for better streets moving and please approve the City of Unley's request for 40km/hr on our collector roads that has been sitting on your desk for years now!
