About WRWTFWW:
WRWTFWW (We Release Whatever the fxxk We Want Records), is a genre-defying Swiss label specializing in reissues and beyond. It’s co-run by friends and founders Olivier Ducret, also the person behind Geneva’s Mental Groove Records, as well as producer and DJ Stéphane Armleder. The idea behind WRWTFWW is less about hoarding rarities, but rather selecting “albums from the past that we love and that are rarely accessible, and making them available to everyone again.
HupHub x Unkompress : 𝕃𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕃𝕠𝕠𝕡𝕤 — Spring Edition 🪡🎶
We’re back at @Unkompress on Sunday, 𝟭𝟳 𝗠𝗮𝘆 for another edition of 𝕃𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕃𝕠𝕠𝕡𝕤.
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚: a shared space where the ears stay active while the hands stay busy. Bring whatever quiet handwork you’re currently into: knitting, crochet, drawing, or any repetitive, screen-free craft.
This session is a collaboration between Unkompress & HupHub, combining mindful making with an immersive analog listening experience. We’ll be listening to a vinyl selection curated by @Unkompress , exploring how sound can shape attention and rhythm.
For 2 hours, we step away from conversation and settle into a quieter kind of presence: tuning into sound, repetition, and the pace of making. 🐚
🤫 This is a quiet session. We invite everyone to help hold a calm, focused atmosphere throughout.

Very grateful to be featured across multiple German publications this month.
From Der Spiegel to Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung and others - all covering the rise of listening bars and intentional music spaces.
Nice to see Unkompress included in that conversation.
Come listen.
A night at Unkompress where records, conversations, and deep musical roots meet.
Din Daa Daa opens her Unkompress residency with a set titled “Scottish Roots, German Influences.”
The session traces a personal and musical journey between where she’s from and where she is now — connecting her upbringing in Scotland with her life in Berlin through electronic and experimental sound.
Growing up surrounded by a family record collection that included artists like Can and other German pioneers, these sounds became part of her musical DNA long before she realised it.
The evening was also dedicated to Keith McIver (JD Twitch of @optimoespacio ), whose influence runs deeply through the selection. Several records played that night were first discovered through his DJ sets and releases connected to his labels.
“A Scottish project featuring Nina Hagen on vocals felt like the perfect example of Scottish roots meeting German influence.”
The full Deep Listening Session is now live on YouTube.

“I want to write music that reflects life.”
— Julius Windisch
Live at Morphine Raum drifts between rhythm and fragility, translating the pulse of early ’90s techno into the uncertainties of today.
For Julius Windisch and his quartet, immerweiter, music becomes a place of solace and longing — a mantra reminding us that despite everything, we move forward.
Recorded live in Berlin, the album echoes with energy, emotion, and hope.

Another stellar BYOV for the books…
From death metal to Japanese jazz and house, Taiwanese music to African boogie and obscure ’80s electronic music - our guests brought anything and everything… and it was a TON of fun.
This continues to be one of the highlights of the month. The quality and variety of music you guys bring surprises me every time.
Each Wednesday we deep dive into a particular genre, theme, or period, and you’re always welcome to bring a record. But the first Wednesday of the month is always BYOV, where there are no boundaries to what you can bring.
Here’s a round-up of what the community brought this time. Thanks to everyone who brought records - you know who you are.
Do you recognize any of these records?
Tell us in the comments which one you spotted 👀
And if you were there - what record did you bring?
