Self-Love & Affirmations — Part Two Earlier today I shared Part One from the 🎧 Self-Love Is A Practice podcast series — specifically the episode on Self-Love & Affirmations (available on all platforms). By now, I hope you’ve written out the alphabet of your life and you’re ready to take this practice to another level. Here’s my truth. I was raised to be modest. Polite. Gracious. Patting yourself on the back was considered… undignified. That was then. This is now. ✨ Believe your own hype. Because if you don’t believe it, no one else will. Try this: Seven days. Listening to your own affirmations spoken in your own voice. Let the words move past the mind and rewrite themselves in your cells. This is how the story changes — from the inside out. I wish you a beautiful weekend (if you celebrate a conventional one). And if you feel called to go deeper: 🌀 The Work Beneath The Work 📅 Sunday, 25 January via ZOOM ⏰ 9:00 AM ET 🔗 Details + sign-up via link in bio Peace. And so it is.

The Power of Intentionality On the first night of our #UltimateGirlsTrip, we invited our glamorous guests to embody fierceness in their black attire. Because let’s be real—you can never own too many black dresses. My signature evening look? Always black. From my early days in NYC’s legendary club scene of the ‘80s—think #AndyWarhol, #AREA (yes, I’m dating myself, and owning it)—to now, black has been my go-to. This little number? One of my all-time favorites, acquired in Southeast Asia over a decade ago. It’s the epitome of less is more. Paired with my **Ferragamo mesh boots, rhinestone heels catching the light just right—**I feel unstoppable. Years ago, a dear friend pointed out, “Whenever you wear a red dress, you step into a whole new persona.” I hadn’t realized it—until she said it. How you dress should be a reflection of who you are and how you FEEL in that moment. This is why beauty is an inside job. We’ve all seen it—people who look fabulous, yet their energy barely scratches the surface. The difference between someone who is simply well-put-together and someone who owns the room? It’s in what can’t be seen—it’s felt. Confidence is the gateway to Self-Love. And so it is. ✨ . . . #photocredit @veronnnie #selfloveisapractice #stridepurposefullyinthedirectionofyourdreams #confidance #ownyoursexy #embodyfemininity #lilblackdress #dresstoimpress

I’ve worn many hats – each one to its fullest I might add! ✔️yoga teacher ✔️personal development mentor ✔️women’s circle facilitator (DM me for upcoming training deets) ✔️writer ..a lover of life, and eternally on a soul quest. ❓What’s stirring in every fiber of your being that wants to be expressed? ❗️No matter what it is, I’ll take you there! Travel often? Don’t let your wellness routine be the first thing that slips. When you’re consistent with giving your body the nutrients it needs, you feel it - better energy, stronger immunity, better digestion, and simply feeling more like yourself. And when you’re not? Your body feels that too. That’s why our Sea Moss Capsules are such an easy essential to keep with you. Same sea moss benefits, just in a convenient form - so taking care of yourself stays simple, wherever life takes you.

Some rooms don’t just invite you in. They require you to be there. Day One of the Disruptive Leadership Conference in Miami was exactly that. I arrived uber excited, humbled, honored—all of it. Because for much of my corporate leadership life, I sat in rooms where most people did not look like me, sound like me, move like me, or understand the cultural codes I carried. Programming gave rise to conformity. But now? Leadership today demands something different. Disruption is the new name of the game. The rules? Shatter, scatter, adapt. One of my guiding mantras was at the fore of yesterday: ‘Question everything, especially our beliefs.’ I was challenged, confronted, inspired, and deeply moved. One question stayed with me: What behooves me to lead? For me, that becomes: What archetype of leadership lives within me? What histories, wounds, gifts, and wisdom inform her? Day One was phenomenal. Big respect to every presenter, to Dr. Terri Karelle-Johnson for holding the room with such brilliance and grace, and especially to Judy McCutcheon for staying faithful to a vision bigger than herself. That kind of commitment takes courage. And maybe a little bit of holy madness too. Today I step onto the panel. Present. Grounded. Disrupted. And ready. #DisruptiveLeadership #CaribbeanLeadership #SelfLoveIsAPractice #AndSoItIs #dcl2026

Once upon a time, there was a girl who loved to dance. And a boy who loved music. Life carried them separate and apart — through different journeys, different rhythms, different dreams. Until one day… those passions collided again. And from that reunion, something beautiful was born: ✨ Party with a Purpose ✨ Now, they invite YOU to join the mission. 3–7 September Montego Bay, Jamaica 🇯🇲 Where music, movement, intention, community, and celebration come together. Come party with purpose. Come alive. #PartyWithAPurpose

Blessed EarthStrong 👑 ❤️💛💚 Too often we hear about intergenerational trauma and intergenerational curses. But we do not speak enough about intergenerational blessings. Today is my cousin Jason’s Earthstrong, and during my meditation this morning, I found myself reflecting on the women who planted the seeds long before either of us arrived here. His grandmother and my grandmother were sisters and best friends. They moved to New York together and became part of the architecture of our family story — laying foundations neither of them could possibly have imagined. His mother and my mother — both only children — then grew up not merely as cousins, but as sisters and best friends themselves. And then came Jason and me. His mother, my beloved Aunt Joyce — who was also my godmother — meant the world to me. In fact, Jason came into this world because Aunt Joyce deeply wanted a little girl. And what many may not know is that for years I’ve always said that if I were ever to mother a child, I would want a son and I would name him Jason. So to say that we are blessings to one another feels far too small for what this truly is. Jason comes the closest I will probably ever know to what siblinghood means. Yes, we bicker. Yes, we drive each other crazy. Yes, we disagree. But we have each other’s backs, fronts, sides, and center — unconditionally. And today, publicly, I want to thank him. For the support, the patience, the laughter, the protection, the pushing, the presence. Truthfully, had I not had Jason beside me these past several years, I may not even have been able to create this post today. So to my baby cousin — who simultaneously tests my patience and demands that I rise into the fullest expression of myself: Big up yuhself. Happy Earthstrong. You are deeply loved. And truly worthy. 🎂✨

Well-being is not a soft conversation. It is strategy. This panel will explore how organizations can treat mental health, burnout, and balance as real leadership priorities, not afterthoughts tucked away until the pressure gets loud. Because brave leadership also means building environments where people can perform, recover, and thrive. We’re 2 days away from the final edition of the Disruptive Leadership Conference - in-person and online! Register now at DisruptiveLeadershipConference.com.

I stepped away. And something settled. Nearly two weeks off. No posting. No noise. Just… space. Not everything needs to be shared in real time. What’s the FIRST thing I noticed? The quality of my sleep improved tenfold – uninterrupted, peaceful rest 8 to 11 hours each night. Now I’m back— and it’s a FULL week ahead. We’re moving toward a New Moon in Taurus. Not here yet… but already working. I feel it. This one isn’t about rushing intentions. It’s about asking— what am I really anchoring into? What stays? What goes? What gets reclaimed? Because reclamation… is not delicate. It disrupts. And maybe that’s the point. This week, I’ll be in Miami at the Disruptive Leadership Conference. Final one. I’m stepping into a conversation on: well-being as strategy— mental health, burnout, balance. I’m not coming with theory. I’ve lived burnout – under the guise of performance – from the boardroom to the bedroom. I’ve walked it all the way through to the other side. And it changed everything. So I’m showing up— present, honest, grounded— in a room that feels right on time. If you’re there, I’ll see you. If you’re not, find a way to tune in. Some rooms… matter. And this week? Feels like one of them. #AndSoItIs 🙏🏾💫💚

As we enter May… May you remember who you are. May your hopes find their way to you. May your dreams rise to meet you. May you live… in infinite possibility. For the next few days— I’ll be stepping away. To listen. To recalibrate. To be. I’ll be back when I come up for air. Until then— BE well. 🙏🏾🌹💕

…then choose what elevates YOU! Full Moon in Scorpio. A moment of truth. Of release. Of clarity. What are you holding onto that’s keeping you small? What are you ready to step into that requires courage? Because this is what this moment does— it strips away the noise. And asks you one question: What are you choosing? Maybe it’s rest. Maybe it’s joy. Maybe it’s connection. Maybe it’s something you’ve been putting off… Party with a Purpose 📍 Montego Bay 📅 September 3–7 Not just a trip. A decision to step into something more. Release. Decide. Move. 🔗 Link in bio 📩 DM “PURPOSE”
