Here's a simple guide on how to come join our classes!
We are located at 144 W 14th Street, in Manhattan on the south side of 14th Street between 6th Ave and 7th Ave.
The nearest public transportation lines are the L, F, 1, 2, 3 trains as well as the M14, and M7 busses, and NJ Path train.
Our entrance is a small double door with glass panes, behind which you'll see an aluminum elevator and stairs to the left.
It is between the entrance to a Nail salon on the left, and Pratt Manhattan college campus on the right.
Across the street is Modern Bagels.
On the right side of the entrance is a doorbell below with a Unity Logo sticker below it, if you ring the doorbell we will open the door, which needs to be pulled.
Once inside you can take the stairs to the left, or enter the elevator to the right. We are at the Basement level.
Once you get out the elevator make two right turns and you'll see our front desk down a corridor.
If you took the stairs, you'll also make two right turns once you exit the stairwell door.
Once you get to the front desk, our friendly staff will take care of all your needs.

This is an ippon seoi nage set up from a collar grip that we went over in class @unityjiujitsu last Friday.
Although traditionally the ippon is done from the sleeve, I generally prefer throwing from the collar because I feel like I have more control of the person’s shoulder.
