Ahead of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) this Sunday, we spoke to @unityincov about the work they do, the importance of community connection, and their upcoming United in Love event on Sat 20 June - which the Belgrade will also be part of 🏳️🌈
Unity in Cov also hold the Unity in Coventry Choir at the Belgrade every Thursday evening, bringing people together through music and community spirit 🎶

Known for their precise performances demonstrating power and pride, The Movement Project will be sure to get you on your feet and moving with them 😍
Having performed all around the midlands and beyond at various Pride events, they are no stranger to putting on a performance for the LGBTQ+ community either and we cannot wait to see what they do for us!

Known for their sensational acoustic covers of hits from the 90s, 00s and 2010s through powerful vocals and instrumental talent, The Laundry Room will for sure be a hit with everybody of all ages!
Having performed all over the Midlands and beyond, they are no stranger to a stage either!

Described as a collective of Queer neuro-spiciness delivering “Punk Panto”, Duck Thieves are sure to make an impact when they hit the stage this summer!
Previously performing at Coventry Pride, Godiva, Bearded Theory and Equinox festival, they are no stranger to the big stage and are ready to make you bust a move and strain a vocal cord or two!

☀️ Community Panel Open Evening ☀️
Join us on Monday 20th April at The Yard Coventry @ 6:30pm onwards for our Community Panel Open Evening!
We believe that the voices of the community are the most important, so we want yours to be heard!
UiC are hosting a drop in-drop out session on the 20th April at The Yard, where you can pop by, have your say about what needs to happen in the community and speak with not just the team, but also other members of the wider LGBTQ+ community and beyond!
This is the perfect time to join our community panel, as we head into the summer months, we have a lot planned and we also want you to be a part of it!
Refreshments will also be available, so pop on down and be part of something special! 😍
