MSMF x UNIT Diversity and Inclusion Panel Talk 2026
Last Thursday, we welcomed an incredible group of students and professionals for an evening of meaningful conversation around diversity, inclusion, and career pathways in finance and professional services.
A huge thank you to our panelists, Ilay Cohen, Jack Leong, Nikita Ghandi, and Pamela Pan, for sharing their experiences and insights so openly. Your contributions made for an engaging and inspiring discussion.

Susquehanna is excited to bring back The Showdown, our Australia and New Zealand–wide university poker tournament!
This year’s event features a total prize pool of $12,500, with our top 3 finishers taking home:
First Prize: $5,000
Second Prize: $2,500

Additionally, all players who reach the final two tables will be granted an exploratory first phone interview.

Step 2: Join our online estimation game on Thursday 21st May to qualify for the in-person tournament. The top players will move on to the poker showdown at Susquehanna’s APAC headquarters in Sydney.
Step 3: Face off with top students at the Susquehanna Showdown Final Table on Saturday, 27th June. Flights and accommodation will be covered for all non-NSW residents.

On behalf of CBA Global Markets, UNIT is excited to invite students to participate in our annual Case Competition!🌍📈
This case competition provides an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity, critical analysis and problem solving capabilities.
Competition and Team Format
Teams are to consist of 2-4 students. UNIT will allocate individual registrants into teams, and you will be notified of your team allocation upon release of the case brief.
The preliminary round will require all registered teams to submit a presentation addressing the prescribed question within a week. Submissions will be made via email.
Heat Round: Presentations will be reviewed and 12 teams will advance to the heat round. At that time, teams will be asked to present to a panel of judges. Students will be provided with 10 minutes of uninterrupted presentation time and 5 minutes of Q&A.
Final Round: 3 teams will progress to the final round, where finalists will present to a panel of judges consisting of CBA Global Markets industry professionals.
Prizes
The winning team will win an accelerated pathway in the Global Markets Summer Analyst Program 2026/2027 landing them a spot in the face to face interviews. Prizes will be awarded to the winners provided eligibility criteria has been met i.e. students must be in their penultimate year of study and hold either an Australian Permanent Residency or Australian/ New Zealand Citizenship.
Winners who are not in their penultimate year will win a mentoring session with the Global Markets Team and we also look forward to receiving their application to the Summer Analyst program in the future.
